Freediving is a fascinating sport through which human potential is being discovered. It transcends the sports field to integrate the scientific, artistic and spiritual. It sensitizes and makes us aware of the need to preserve our seas and oceans, on which humanity depends.
Organizing the CMAS 2023 World Championship in Roatán is a great honor that entails a huge responsibility. I would especially like to thank to CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiqués ) for entrusting us with this task; also to the sponsors and Roatan community for providing the necessary support for the realization of this event.
